Seamoose confirms that at least one OWL team did not try AKM due to buyout issues
The Rogue Overwatch roster was one of the best rosters in the game. They were consistently at the top and had maintained their position at the top for a very long time. However their absence from the Overwatch league definitely was a huge surprise to everyone involved int the scene. In a statement later, Rogue even mentioned that they were not given approval for the League participation despite having the prerequisite $20 million required. In what is a surprising comment now it has been learnt that at least one of the OWL teams decided not to try out the players due to the huge buyouts.
Honorable mentions include Retzi, Space Sinatraa and Danteh. Though we never tried AKM due to buyouts. The roster could have been top 6 relatively simply and personally I feel could develop well enough to be a top contender. Healthy mix of veterans and rookies
