Reports suggest that Melbourne might be getting an Overwatch League team

The Overwatch League is all set to expand in Season 2. There will be six new teams for Season 2 with Atlanta and Guangzhou already confirmed for the same. Now there are rumours of an Australian team possibly in contention for Season 2. The city franchise will go to Melbourne one of the biggest cities in Australia. If true, this would truly expand the footprint of the Overwatch League into several continents.

I’m hearing rumours that Melbourne May be announced as one of the six cities to receive an Overwatch League franchise.

This is after it was highlight during the season as a potential target.

He also mentions that there will be another Korean city, mostly Busan.

Most likely going to be announced with the second Korean city that’s likely Busan.
