Blizzard has huge delays in paying out Overwatch Professional Prize money

There were a few teams recently that went public on social media as they had not received the prize money for their Wins in Professional Overwatch Tournaments. But it seems Blizzard is notorious for delays in payments as is evidenced by this tweet below. They took almost 14 months to pay out the OWWC 2016 Prize money.
