Despite being one of the famous esports titles, Overwatch does not have a huge prize pool. it features a meager prize pool despite being the only tournament in the scene. It does have various other benefits such as Player salaries, health insurance etc. Ofcourse you need to be in the Overwatch league for that. If you are not in the Overwatch league, it does pose a problem for many.

Longtime Overwatch semipros and streamers have now won more tournaments and made more money playing Fortnite and Realm Royale in weeks than they did playing Overwatch for years.
