Five changes we want to see in League of Legends Patch 9.7
The 9.7 patch is arriving soon and promises a lot of changes that will hopefully change the way the game works. Today we’ve brought you the five things that gamers want Riot to change.
Nerfed Runes The Aftershock Rune is likely to get nerfed because it is being exploited since December by top and mid laner who just love the damage boost in the 1v1 confrontations. This is an opportunity to recreate the Resolve Keyston Rune and Aftershock. The community wants Riot to change other runes as they were rather weak compared to Precision and Domination.
Client Changes This is something that is quite common, but the LoL client is often buggy and weak compared to the clients of other titles 2019. A big overhaul would greatly increase the quality of UI for the players and would be more user-friendly. Otherwise, an optimization update would be appreciated by the player base.
Hey all! Here are the current planned changes for 9.7 though there may still be some additions or removals from the list. Will try to answer questions as I have time today if folks have any. pic.twitter.com/4D0MdkQgF1

Urgot Nerf For Urgot so far, the 2019 year is a roller coaster. After dominating for months, Urgo became a slow hero of the casual league and top players in the NFs.
The latest buffs brought him back to the top and are not exactly pleasant to play against, especially when he max out his W. We believe that the W is unnecessarily overpowered since it even makes him an unstoppable jungler. There is a need for a new nerf wave to get the power to normal.
Lissandra Nerf Lissandra has been dominating the mid lane for months, with a top-tier pick rate in the competitive. She has a reliable wave clear, a decent escape, is a great initiator, and holds a reliable ultimate. We cannot ignore the fact that Aftershock is a very popular choice, and hopefully, we will see a few changes to reduce its invincibility by counterpicks.
Kayle Nerf It seems that Kayle is on the same path as Urgot, Aatrox, Akali and others. A hero who went through a bigger rework and climbed up the list of broken heroes. In spite of the weak lane phase, if Kayle’s team can survive the early stages of the game, she becomes a force to be reckoned with in the mid-game and will be unstoppable at the late stage. Though undoubtedly needing to make changes, hopefully, she will live in peace without buffs and nerfs like Urgot and Akali.
It's highly likely that Aftershock appears again in the near future, but we didn't want to rush it out this patch.
