TI8 is almost as close as the prize pool for TI7

The prize pool for The International 2018 has almost reached the prize pool for TI7. It has almost reached the level of TI7, which remains the biggest prize pool event in esports history. With a total of $24.7 million, TI7 set a new record and increasingly has become a showcase event for the amount invested into esports by the fans.

TI8 is now less than $1M USD from becoming the tournament with the largest prize pool in esports history (currently held by TI7) with still another 17 days to go before the prize pool stops increasing. #TI8
