RFRSH will comply with WESA’s ruling about multi team ownership
RFRSH has been making strides in the esports industry. After being closely associated with three of the top teams in esports, RFRSh recently closed a $15 million funding round. The funding round was supported by the likes of Axiomatic.

The rules by WESA state that : Different teams competing in the ESL Pro League – currently the only WESA sanctioned tournament – cannot be completely or partially owned or controlled by the same organisations. Since RFRSH multi team ownership preceded the rule change by WESA, RFRSH will be given a 18 month grace period during which they have to rectify their ownership titles RFRSH entertainment statement : “RFRSH shares the same vision as WESA and its Members to help further professionalize the esports industry,” RFRSH Entertainment CEO and Founder Nikolaj Nyholm said in a statement. “We are taking the necessary steps to comply to WESA’s rules and regulations and are excited to work alongside WESA and all of its Members.”
