WESG 2018 World Finals groups revealed

NiP, who managed to qualify in the last eight of the IEM Katowice 2019, has just received an invitation to the WESG 2018 World Finals, which actually was the final invite slot. Only NiP, MiBr and the reigning champions Fnatic have received an invite to the tournament, as the other 29 teams had to play regional qualifiers in order to book a spot at the WESG World Finals.

WESG 2018 will take place in Chongqing, China, from March 11-17 and will see 32 teams from all over the world, competing for a $890,000 prize pool. The last year’s edition has had a huge $1,500,000 prize pool and has seen the Swedish side Fnatic lifting the trophy. The Swedes will now be looking to defend their title, but they will face tough competition from teams like MiBr, Russia, ENCE, Movistar Riders, G2 or NiP.
