TWC still has not paid out dues from over a year ago

The World Cup which was a mega event promising huge amounts of money to the winners was in a controversy over non-payment of dues several months ago. At the time they promised their earnestness to the industry and promised that they would pay from their own pockets if the amount was not paid by Sponsors. However several months post that statement, the money has still not been paid out. This is not something new to esports, indeed esports is mired in several such problems where tournament organisers / organisations do not pay out the prize money that the players have won. In the past there was no recourse for such players and they were inevitable cheated by these organisations. But for a top tier event organiser to cheat several well known players is simply unacceptable in today’s day and age.

Regarding the TWC (The World Cup) prizemoney payment, still havent received money nor any update (1/3)

Am I the only one thinking it's about god damn time to pay our from your own funds then? 3/3
