Should KQLY have been banned from competitive?

KQLY was caught cheating in a low level match. He has been removed from competitive esports and has not seen any offers in the past. But recently he was contracted by Vexed Gaming who see this as an opportunity to form a strong team. It also makes a financial sense since they will have the potential to make big bucks later.

The most ridiculous part about the vitriol against KQLY is we have no clue if he cheated beyond a non-competitive game.
