IEM Katowice 2020 Info, preview and betting odds
One of the biggest events in CSGO, IEM Katowice is just around the corner, the calendar has already announced a number of major details.
With regard to CSGO tournaments, only a few areas common in Katowice as the annual tournament, where some of the biggest prize pools are the best on the world stage.
This year, the ESL Pro Tour Masters event will be held in the new competition circuit of ESL. This event is the first-ever. Not only will teams secure a cash award but also key points to ensure the ESL One Cologne qualification–another Masters Championship.
IEM Katowice is one of CSGO’s most famous tournaments. On February 24, IEM Katowice begins and brings almost a whole week of thrilling CSGO activities with a grand finale at Spodek Arena on March 1.
On the first four days of the event, both fans and players will be playing for the group, while the playoffs take place during all three of them.
In the traditional counter-strike format, IEM Katowice will play, with the double-elimination groups into a one-release playoff bracket.
The latest ESL CSGO World Ranges will have two groups of eight teams with all matches played in best-of-three formats. That group’s winners progress to the semi-finals, while two and three advances to the fourth finals. The playoffs will also consist of the three best matches until the final, along best-of-five.
