While in the early years of CSGO, Ibuypower were investing in CSGO teams; it was not really feasible for them anymore considering the huge negative publicity they received over their team betting scandal. But they have been hosting tournaments ever since that year and successfully at that. These tournaments act as the second tier rung of matches for the most part. This definitely comes as a welcome development for the NA scene which has been booming over the past few years.
