CSGO has remained stagnant in terms of the client since it launch. While there have been a few tweaks, the client and the entire matchmaking system look so out of date. Valve has renewed efforts into the Dota2 client, one which helps the team lots of freedom in terms of creativity.

I have no idea why @csgo_dev hasn't developed matchmaking further within the client. It's so shoddy and dated. So much could be done there.

HenryG definitely feels that CSGO developers should work on developing the matchmaking within the client. It would help the average user of CSGO and definitely improve the overall experience.
