An explanation of Astralis securing 1000 points in HLTV rankings

The latest HLTV rankings put Astralis at a 1000 points. This is a very dominant performance by the Danish roster which has been dominating the recent scene. They secured a victory recently in several tournaments including a dominant performance at Dreamhack Marseilles.

Note about today's ranking – EL Major is out of Recent LANs.

The only 3 big events remaining are StarSeries, Katowice & DH Marseille.

The only team to make playoffs in each of those with current lineup? Astralis.

Add to that how dominant they were in Marseille = 1000 pts
