Dreamhack and Twitch have announced a multi-year broadcasting deal. Recently ESL faced a lot of flak over their signing an exclusive broadcasting deal with Facebook and it was a very unfavorable decision at least from the viewers’ perspective. The announcement led to a huge controversy with a senior personnel of ESL really taking to twitter and Reddit to counter the negative feedback provided by the community. Dreamhack events have been streamed on Twitch for about ten years now. Twitch will partner with Dreamhack for a variety of events over the course of the next few years. The content agreement between the two companies includes all DreamHack subject matter, including DreamHack Open, Corsair DreamLeague, Corsair DreamHack Masters and DreamHack Fighting Game Championships.
