CSGO developer John Mcdonald confirms that Valve’s position on IBP has not changed

Valve had banned the IBuypower players from ever participating in a professional tournament. The players had thrown a professional Counter Strike match in lieu of money. The position from Valve is a very strict one and they have banned the players from any further participation. Third party tournament organizers also followed suit and as a result, the five professional players will not be seeing a change in their role and position with regards to Valve events.

Our opinion on that subject hasn't changed. I'm sorry, I know this is an unpopular opinion with the community.
