Team Liquid win The International 2017

The International has come to an end and we have our winners for the event. It was the biggest esports event in the world and the prize winners for this years event are Team Liquid.

Team Liquid moved through the lower bracket after defeating teams such as LFY, LGD, Secret and finally Newbee to win almost $10.9 million. The total prize pool for the event was almost $25 million making it one of the biggest events in esports history.

This year Dota2 will also see the Major system. The Major system will see Valve putting in a lot of money into the esports scene and will  match the contributions by third party organisers
