The Dota2 esports landscape underwent a significant change when Valve allowed the various changes. With Majors and Minors being pre scheduled in order to be transparent and set a specific esports calendar for Dota 2, the organisations and teams are much more relaxed with this change.

Immortals is one of the biggest esports organisations. They recently bought into the Overwatch League with a $20 million buy-in policy. With Dota2 calendar being set in stone, Immortals will now also enter the Dota2 scene.
